Share customer-centred stories
When you share the successes of your customers, you’re putting potential new clients into their shoes, stoking their imagination and building confidence in your brand
Build trust & create connections
If your perspective clients can imagine themselves in your current clients’ position, then a great chunk of the work has been done for you. If they’re getting all this success, so can I! This tie-in creates that emotional connection to your brand and offering making it so much more relevant to their situation
The confidence & value one-two combo
Seeing all that success, especially if it’s targeted (for example, your ad is aimed at new families and touts testimonials from happy mothers) inspires real confidence that you’re a safe choice. Not only that, but it proves that what you’re offering is of real value to a perspective customer’s situation!
1. Get testimonials 2. Collect data
These aren’t the same thing. Getting testimonials is great (see our previous tips), but having the whole story - a case study, is even better. Hell, make that into a series! Collecting good data is the real proof. Think about how you can quantify your proof. ‘My baby sleeps better’ isn’t as good as ‘Babies using our product are 40% more likely to sleep through the night and wake up happier!’
We’ve all got success stories (you do, trust us) share them!
